I's so excited now that its Christmas. I love all the lights and decorations and I would actually leave all my decorations up all year if I wouldn't get screamed at for doing it. Ha ha ha ! I usually already have my Christmas tree up before Nov. 24th so I can enjoy it for Thanksgiving.
Since I spend most of my day on the computer..... I even have a small 3 foot tree sitting on my desk so I can watch it blink as I work. And ya know what.... it kinda sad to have to take it all down once January gets here. Well actually..... I never take down the little tree at all. I just change all the decorations to match what ever holiday it is. It turns into my Holiday Tree instead of my Christmas Tree.
Hubby is having to work late Christmas eve so we only get Christmas Day off. But that doesn't stop us from eating that delishioussss big ham that's going to be cooking on that day! And you know what else..... we have been so good this year that I'm sure that Santa is going to fill both of our stocking for sure. We have them hanging on our fireplace so we're ready! Stephen and I don't have any children... but we do have cats! So we think Santa will come to see them as well.
Speaking of cats...... now that the weather has gotten colder, we have started building a fire in the fireplace at night. Well, we are having the hardest time at keeping our cat's from trying to touch the fire and flames or try and rake out the red hot coals. It's driving me nuts! I'm afraid there going to set themselves on fire or the house one. We keep the front of the fire covered up. You know we pull the metal curtain closed and we have the fire screen up. Those silly cats of ours are so smart until they knock down the screen and they actually open the fireplace chain curtains!!!! Once they get them open, they sit purchased very close to the flames. So close until I don't know how they can stand the heat but they do it. It scares the heck out of me! I don't know how to stop them from doing it. Well Merryyyy Christmassssss Everyone!
As most of our readers already know.... we like to keep our newsletters fun and informative. Starting this month, we're going to start putting a section in our newsletter about Health and Wellness. It will be anything from Herb facts to product news to All-Natural healing information. You know... things that's good for us to know when it comes to staying happy and healthy. This is going to be something that we all should pay attention too. Personally... I like to try and stay away from man made chemicals that I put in my body. If I can I like to use all natural products like herbs and minerals to stay healthy. I don't use them to take the place of a doctor, but I do use them as a preventative. I'm excited about this new section that we're adding. I've been wanting to ad it for a long time.

WATER - Did you know?
Did you know that water is the single most important catalyst in losing weight and keeping the weight off? Did you know that water plays a very important role in the body by suppressing the appetite naturally and metabolizing stored fat? Wow what a powerful statement! Who would of ever thought that something as simple as water could be so powerful at keeping us healthy and keeping the fat away. Did you know that drinking water seems to be the one thing that most of us don't do? And why not? It's the simplest thing there is.
Did you know that studies show that a decrease in water intake causes fat deposits to increase? Did you know that an increase in water intake can actually reduce fat deposits? One of the most amazing things that I learned was a lack of water causes the kidneys to not function properly. When this happens it passes on the load to the liver. If the liver has to aid the kidneys, it cannot function efficiently.
So.... during this Holiday Season when we are eating and eating until our hearts are content. We can help keep the Holiday weight off by just doubling up on our water intake. Flush flush away the waist and calories at the same time! So everyone, drink your water!
