Promoting a traffic exchange mean you will be rewarded free traffic to your own site in exchange. Many Marketer's choose to advertise traffic exchanges for that very reason or because they are an affiliate of that traffic exchange.
Here's a TIGER TIP for you!
When choosing a banner that you want to place on your web site think about the page you want to place it on first. Many Marketers have found that more traffic will visit a banner if it relates to the subject of the page that it is placed on.
Remember most times your trying to capture the attention of your audience about a certain subject matter. If your subject is trying to promote......let's say a traffic exchange.....it would be a bad move if you placed a banner on the page about......let's say.....playing lotteries. Growllll! See what I'm gettin' at? You take away the subject matter you were trying to sale and replaced it with an impulse idea. If you truly want to sale traffic exchange then a banner about lotteries would of been a bad move.
And growlllll growlllll growlllll let me tell you I have visited a lot of marketing web site's and they are making these terrible mistakes all over the place!
Now.....sometimes its ok to place many subject matter's on the same page. When is it ok ?? Well........growl......its ok when you place all your banners in a grouping. You know when you see the site's content at the top and then all the banner ads are collected up at the bottom of the page. This is a good way to place a lot of different banner topic's on the same page. Try it that way & see how it looks.
Here's another TIGER TIP for you!
Also think about the color's of your banner that you pick. If you have a choice on banners and colors pick one that accents the page your going to place it on. Pick a banner which colors will match the web site page that you have it placed on. When colors match they work together in a way which makes the web site look more professional. Take a look at the banner just below. See how the green & white colors match the dark green background. Growllllll!
