Recipes using Coke as an ingredient are really very popular.
Even though coke is a favorite drink it's also a favorite ice cream dessert and used in a cake called the "coke cake". The sweetness of coke adds a nice touch to gravies and sauces. You can mix up a mean batch of homemade BBQ sauce with it too. Coke is used to marinate meats as a tenderizer, we love coctail sausages boiled in coke instead of water. Pull-ah-part Coke Roast
2-3 lb Beef Roast
1-2 cups beef boullion
1 12 oz can Coca Cola
Garlic & Onion powder to taste
Place in slow cooker and cook on low for 4-7 hours (depending on roast, tenderness etc) When the meat shreds easily with a fork you have a WONDERFUL pull-ah-part beef sandwich meat.
