Find It JarsGifts in a jar are not only gifts of food. A Find It Jar is a really fun gift to give and is especially popular at Christmas placed on the dinner table to entertain guests until the meal is ready to eat. The idea is to fill the jar with little trinkets that hide in sand that you have to find. A list of clues are tied on the side of the jar.

Common Spice Mixes: Blends such as chili powder, curry powder, herbes de Provence, garlic salt, and onion salt are traditionally sold pre-made by grocers, and sometimes baking blends such as pumpkin pie spice are also available. These spice mixes are also easily made by the home cook for later use."
