1. - International Beer Day is celebrated by drinking beer with friends.
Beer is considered to be a social lubricant in many societies, and is consumed in countries all over the world. There are breweries in Middle Eastern countries such as Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria, as well as African countries (see African beer). Sales of beer are four times that of wine, the second most popular alcoholic beverage. In Russia, consumption is on the rise as younger generations are choosing beer over vodka. In most societies, beer is the most popular alcoholic beverage.

2. - Buy beer for others.
Gifting is good when you know your friends favorite.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
3. - The suggested way to greet someone on International Beer Day is to hand them a beer and say "I bring you the gift of beer".
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
4. - Find A Celebration!
Hundreds of pubs, bars, and breweries around the world host festivities celebrating the glory of beer. Events are expected to include: bar crawls, homebrew tours, barbeques, beer specials, and special beers. So make sure you visit them on this day and celebate.

5. - Gather with friends!
It's fun to have a few drinks with friends but make sure you do it safely.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
6. - Host A Beer Tasting!
A beer tasting party is a great way to spend the afternoon. Gather your best beer drinking friends and have each one bring a different type of beer. Try picking out beers that you think no one is familiar with. It's a lot of fun to sit around a table tasting and voting on the best to the worst beer.

7. - Play Drinking Games!
Various drinking games, such as beer pong, flip cup and quarters are popular.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
8. - Brew your own beer!
The process of making beer is known as brewing. A dedicated building for the making of beer is called a brewery, though beer can be made in the home and has been for much of its history. A company that makes beer is called either a brewery or a brewing company. Beer made on a domestic scale for non-commercial reasons is classified as homebrewing regardless of where it is made, though most homebrewed beer is made in the home. How to brew your own beer

10. - Search the Internet for recipes that include beer!
We all know how popular it is to put a bottle of beer in a pot of chili, or a pot roast. And who can pass up a plate of beer battered fish and onion rings! Well there are barrels of other recipes just perfect for serving at your next beer party. And while your at it, don't forget the beer bread.

9. - Learn the different types of beer
Stout and porter are dark beers made using roasted malts or roast barley, and typically brewed with slow fermenting yeast. There are a number of variations including Baltic porter, dry stout, and Imperial stout.
Lambic, a beer of Belgium, is naturally fermented using wild yeasts, rather than cultivated.
Wheat beer is brewed with a large proportion of wheat although it often also contains a significant proportion of malted barley.
Lager is the English name for cool fermenting beers of Central European origin. Pale lagers are the most commonly consumed beers in the world.
An ale is commonly defined by the strain of yeast used and the fermenting temperature.
