Ever wanted to make your sack lunch more fun than the boring warm turkey sandwich? If so, then read on for some suggestions!

Steps
1) - Put in your favorite food, but make sure there's a healthy diversity.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

2) - Do not use regular bread for sandwiches, instead spice it up with using something like bagels, English muffins, croissants, and hamburger buns.

3) - Try putting in main dishes like soups, pasta or casseroles in a thermos. If you want to have a salad or something else delicate, Tupperware makes for great containers. Buy in assorted sizes, some big ones for salads and such, a medium sized one for vegetables, granola, or cut up fruit, and small ones for dressing, croûtons, nuts or any thing else you can think of.

4) - Put in things like burritos or pizza, but since they probably won't fit into your thermos, tin foil is a good alternative.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

5) - Put stickers on your bag or draw on it to decorate it when you are done.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Tips
Try trading food at school with your peers. However, make sure that you only do this if nobody else at your home wants it.

Don't always bring the same lunch. Try something new!
If you have access to a microwave, you can enjoy even more different foods, such as microwavable noodle soups like ramen, or reheat foods that lose their heat too quickly to be wrapped in tin foil or put in a thermos, like pizza.

Try varying your sandwiches from day to day. American cheese on white bread is okay, but can become boring after awhile. Try using different varieties of bread, such as rye, pumpernickel, pita, etc. Try varying different kinds of cheeses, spreads, etc., as well. Apple butter and cheddar slices on pumpernickel bread is an interesting (and delicious) change from the more standard fare.

Warnings
Make sure any containers with liquid inside them are tightly sealed, otherwise you could have an unpleasant mess waiting for you at lunch!
