How To Throw An Ornament Exchange Party

Come Up With A Name. It's important to come up with a name for your Christmas Bash. Don't do something simple like Krysta's Christmas Party. THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX. Do something like The Ultimate Christmas Bash! Make it unique.

Set A Date and Time. I would recommend December 25th because it's Christmas and you're throwing a Christmas bash. Set a time too. What time will your party start and end.

Set A Place For Your Party. I would recommend that you hold your Christmas bash at your house and backyard, even if it's like 30 degrees outside.

Create A Guest List. Who are you going to invite? Try inviting a minimum of 10 guests and a maximum of 50. I would recommend that you invite your friends, family, neighbors and people from work.

Plan Out The Events. Plan events like Secret Santa, Dinner, Dance (Formal), Gift Opening, and of course singing the Christmas songs together.

Create An Invitation. Create one using your computer and printer. Make sure you create one for everyone you're inviting. Invite their kids too! Make sure to add the where the party is taking place, time, date, what to wear (Men: Suite, Women: Dress), What color to wear (Green, red, white), The events, Tell everyone to bring at least one gift if you're doing secret Santa. That goes for you too! Tell them to reply back.

Mail Out The Invitation. Then wait for replies.

After Replies. Buy decorations, Christmas trees, gifts, and provide everyone who's coming with a gift bag before they leave.

Start Buying. Buy candies, more decorations and anything else that comes to mind.

Buy Scented Candles. Save them for the party. Make sure that they smell like cinnamon or evergreen and that they're red and green.

Order The Cake. It's important to have a huge Christmas cake. Make sure it gets here before the day of your party

Buy Foods. Buy the things you need to make that special Christmas dinner. Buy anything else that you need like chicken, turkey and vegetables.

Buy The Gift Bags. Buy everyone a gift bag with a mini gift inside.

Buy The Present For Your Secret Santa.

Start Decorating. Put up the Christmas tree, banners, lamps, sofa covers, window decors. Don't put up the candles yet

Finish Decorating. Put up the candles now. Finish anything else that has to do with decorating. Don't light the candles today. Light it tomorrow before your guests arrive.

Cook and Prepare The Foods. Prepare all the foods and put it in room temperature.

Put The Cake On The Table. Make sure it's covered with something.

Set Up The Dinner Table. Make sure it looks neat, pretty and all the food/utensils are on it.

Get Ready For The Party. Wear your party dress and make up.

Light All The Candles.

Greet The Guests. Tell them to drop their presents for Secret Santa on a table.

Do All Of The Events.

Sing Christmas Songs.

Have Dinner.

Have Fun!
