Dips at Parties!
I don't think I've ever been to a party that didn't have some form of dip being served at the table, have you? Dips are what parties are all about right! I think dips of all types will always be a favorite at parties so you can't go wrong by adding a few to the party menu that's for sure. You can find recipes to thick dips, thin dips, veggie dips and cheese dips and all taste delicious and work great for any Halloween party.

Dip Tips & Ideas

Spider & web Dips:  It wouldn't suprise you if I told you that spider and spider web dips are the most popular theme dip on the table at Halloween in our opinion now would it? It's so easy to draw a spider web on the top of any dip recipe by using sour cream or cream cheese like the photo above shows. You can put in in a bottle and draw your spider web. If you don't have a bottle, just fill a plastic zip lock bag and snip the corner off then start drawing your web.

Spiders: For the spiders; you can either buy plastic spiders and place them all over the dip or you can make your own spiders out of melted chocolate .

Nacho  Dip: You can serve your dip with doreto chips, corn chips or you can make a party tray that's a taco salad just like the one pictured above. For the dip itself, just layer refried beans, seasoned hamburger meat, cheese tomatoes, guocamolie and sour cream.

Halloween:  Spider & web dip can be served at Halloween, on Save a spider day, National Chip & Dip Day or really any holiday at all. To serve on a different holiday just change the drawing on top of the dip to match that holiday. For example: If your having a volly ball party then draw a picture of a volley ball on top of the dip with the sour cream.

Serving:  Finding neat serving trays, bowls and dishes helps to make the party special. Try to find some neat ones and serve your food in them.  Halloween is a great time to find some really spooky dishes. You can find tons of Halloween coffee cups when everything else in the stores run out. You can always fill a cup with dips.

Name your food:  Even if you don't have special Halloween serving trays you need to name your food. Put a little sign on it and name it something fun or spooky. Part of all the fun of a Halloween party is reading all the funny names of the food that makes everyone laugh.
