The March Flower is Daffodils

When is National No Dirty Dishes Day?
National No Dirty Dishes Day is always May 18th.
Are there any other Holidays related to cleaning? Yes!
National Cleaning Week is always the 4th week in March.
Let Someone Else Clean Day is April 7.

What is this Holiday for?
The celebration of this day is having no dirty dishes in the sink, in the dishwasher, under the bed or out in the yard by the grill either. This is a day where we celebrate not having any dirty dishes. Now this day is not intended for you to pile them up until tomorrow. No way! It's intended for you to catch up on all the dishes in the house and that's scattered all over the place. You know, all those coffee cups that's sitting in the garage where the hubby likes to work on the truck at. You know under the bed where the kids like to slide the plate after they finish eating those cookies. You know beside the grill outside when you had your last BBQ cookout. Lets see... when was that?  Around 3 weeks ago?!!  Yes we all know that's how real life really is and today is the day to have all the family do a ground search and bring them all inside so they can be washed up and put away in the cabinets.

How can I avoid dirty dishes today?
No Dirty Dishes Day also means you have permission to use those paper plates! Yipppp eeeee!  Use disposable plates, cups and silverware for all meals. Choose snacks to snack on that don't require plates such as bagged snacks like chips. Or celebrate this day by taking the family out to eat for all three meals and avoid eating at home all together. Wow what a treat that would be!

Make your own cleaners
"Save that empty dish-soap bottle, and refill it with a homemade dish soap. Fill a 22-ounce squirt bottle with Castile soap, which is a pure odorless soap. Add 15 drops of lemon or lemongrass essential oil, six drops of lavender essential oil and five drops of bergamot essential oil. visit hgtv

Soap Container
Do you want to have a pretty container for your liquid dishwashing detergent? Many women love to replace the plastic retail dish liquid bottle with something attractive and you can make your own very easily. Most choose glass. All you have to do is save one of your empty olive oil bottles or buy yourself a nice decorative bottle but it must have a wine spout on it. You can easily fill the bottle by using a funnel. The great part is that you can place fake flower peddles in the bottle that would be beautiful floating inside the soap.  Try floating other things in it as well like little plastic fish. Use your imagination and see what you come up with.

How can I Celebrate?
