Origin of this Day:
Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this day. This holiday is referred to as a "National" day as all food holidays are. However, we did not find any congressional records or presidential proclamations for this day. Even though we didn't, this is still a holiday to celebrate.
This holiday has been celebrated for several years and many websites discuss Strawberry Ice Cream Day and how it can be celebrated. This observance is also mentioned on greeting card sites and calendar sites as well.
It must also be mentioned that, in 1984, President Ronald Reagan declared July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day. There are over 20 observance days in honor of ice cream. National Strawberries 'n Cream Day is May 21.

Definition of Ice Cream
"Ice cream or ice-cream is a frozen dessert usually made from dairy products, such as milk and cream, and often combined with fruits or other ingredients and flavours. Most varieties contain sugar, although some are made with other sweeteners. In some cases, artificial flavourings and colorings are used in addition to (or in replacement of) the natural ingredients. This mixture is stirred slowly while cooling to prevent large ice crystals from forming; the result is a smoothly textured ice cream.
